Der städtebauliche Entwurf greift das übergeordnete Wegenetz der Stadt Wolfsberg auf, und versucht sich bestmöglich mit seiner Umgebung zu verknüpfen.

Es werden Fuß- und Radwegverbindungen nach Osten zur Vorstadt aufgenommen und weitergeführt. So kann auch eine zukünftige Anbindung des derzeit noch unbebauten westlich an das Mikutta Areal angrenzende Grundstück gewährleistet werden. [break] Ziel des Entwurfes ist es, den verkehrserschlossenen öffentlichen Siedlungsraum auf ein notwendiges Minimum zu beschränken. Dem zu Folge ist die Zufahrt für den motorisierten Verkehr auf die äußersten Randbereiche beschränkt und erlaubt somit eine weitestgehend autofreie Siedlungsstruktur. Die Zufahrt für den motorisierten Verkehr erfolgt ausschließlich ost- und südseitig. Der westseitig am Stadtquartier vorbeiführende Rosthornweg wird somit nicht verkehrsbelastet und dient auch zukünftig als attraktive Rad- und Fußwegverbindung.{:}{:en} 

The urban design takes up the overarching road network of the city of Wolfsberg, and tries to connect as best as possible with its surroundings.

The access for the motorized traffic takes place exclusively on the east and south sides. Thus, the Rosthornweg, which leads past the city quarter on the west side of the city, will not be burdened with traffic and will continue to serve as an attractive cycling and walking path connection in the future.{:}
