Das gediegene Erscheinungsbild des alten Hofes besticht durch seine schöne Lage im Umfeld von Schloss Eggenberg. Wichtig bei der Sanierung war, den besonderen Charme des Gebäudes nicht zu verlieren, sondern zu unterstreichen.

Der Zubau an der Nordseite des Altbestandes steht in einem bewussten Kontrast zu diesem, fügt sich aber dennoch durch Proportion sowie formale Reduktion sensibel in das Ensemble ein und ergänzt den Altbestand durch seine moderne Note. Der Zubau beinhaltet die neue Erschließung sowie Sanitär – und Abstellräume. Es handelt sich bei der Erweiterung um ein klar reduziertes Volumen, das sich schlank neben der bestehenden Villa positioniert.
Durch die neue Gestaltung der Erschließungssituation betritt man den Hof nun durch ein Zugangstor im Neubau, welches sich mit einer raumhohen Verglasung in den Garten öffnet. Die Villa wurde im Inneren entkernt, umgestaltet und ermöglicht dadurch ein großzügiges, offenes Wohnen über 3 Ebenen.{:}{:en}
Comprehensive renovation and adaptation of the historic courtyard building.
The solid appearance of the old farm impresses with its beautiful location in the environment of Schloss Eggenberg. Important in the renovation was not to lose the special charm of the building, but to underline.

The annex on the north side of the old building stands in a deliberate contrast to this, but nevertheless fits sensitively into the ensemble through proportion and formal reduction and complements the old stock with its modern touch. The extension includes the new development as well as sanitary and storage rooms. The expansion is a clearly reduced volume that is positioned lean next to the existing villa.
Due to the new design of the development situation, the courtyard is now entered through an access gate in the new building, which opens up to the garden with room-high glazing. The villa was gutted inside, redesigned, allowing for a spacious, open living over 3 levels.
