Die Sanierung der Volksschule und die Neuerrichtung der „Musik“ bietet die Chance, den ursprünglichen Charakter der Schule hervorzuheben und durch Adaptionen neue Perspektiven der Nutzbarkeit für das Ensemble der Schule, Musik und für Veranstaltungen zu eröffnen.

  Die dreiseitige Anordnung der Volksschule mit Mehrzwecksaal um einen einseitig offenen Innenhof wird von hohem gestalterischen und funktionalen Wert erkannt. Darauf aufbauend umschließt das neue Gebäude der „Musik“ das Ensemble der Volksschule und der Mehrzweckhalle. Der neue „Hof“ wird attraktiver und bildet einen gemeinschaftlichen straßenseitigen Zugang für die „Musik“, den „Sport“, für Veranstaltungen und einen zweiten Eingang zur Volksschule. Somit gibt es zusätzlich zum ursprünglichen hinterhofartigen Zugang zur Mehrzweckhalle einen attraktiven zentralen Ankommensbereich vom Innenhof in das multifunktionale Gebäudeensemble, das sich in Form von einem größzügigen Foyerbereich zeigt und die Schule mit dem Mehrzwecksaal und dem Gebäude für die „Musik“ verbindet. Der neue Innenhof senkt sich der Topografie folgend leicht ab und mündet in das Niveau des Mehrzwecksaal. [break] Alle Bereiche werden barrierefrei erschlossen. Der Bestand der Klassentrakte wird in den Hof akzentuiert, die neue Marktgasse öffnet sich großzügig durch „Taschen“ – der gestaltete Freiraum und die neue Marktgasse werden miteinander verwebt und ergeben interessante Außen- und Innenräume und Blickbeziehungen. Die begrünten „Taschen“ dienen einerseits als eine Art Schwelle vom Innenhof zu den Klassentrakten und erzeugen kleine Erholungsbereiche die direkt von der Marktgasse erschlossen werden können. Die Marktgasse bildet somit das Bindeglied von Hof und den Klassentrakten und ermöglicht einen attraktiven Mehrwert im Innenhof. Er unterstreicht seine Nutzung als multifunktionalen Platz für die Schule und das Dorf- und Vereinsleben für die „Musik“ und Veranstaltungen im Mehrzwecksaal. Der alten, nicht sehr beliebte Hofsituation weicht einem klar definierten und gestalteten Innenhof, von dem alle Funktionen profitieren können.{:}{:en}
